Founder Mary Blackmon launched Spa-Addicts.com in January, 2003, after an eighteen-year career as a leading advertising and marketing executive for distinguished publishing houses and internet companies including Wired, Walt Disney Internet and Vivendi-Universal Internet. Mary, who craved spa visits to relieve stress and soothe her mind and body, felt that spa-going should be something that could be enjoyed more consistently - and by more people, and not just as a splurge on special occasions. That's when she decided that her dream to provide "affordable" pampering should and could become a reality, and thus Spa-Addicts.com was born.

With popularity constantly increasing, the site is now delivering over 600,000 page views monthly. This rapid growth has put Spa-Addicts.com center-stage in the press, both online and in print.
